We also provide buses to several local primary schools:
Dolbadarn School, Llanberis – to/from Nant Peris
Cwm y Glo School – to/from Brynrefail
Llanrug School – to/from Bro Rhythallt and Ceunant
School Fares – in order to encourage travel to school by bus, we are the first bus operator in the area to offer reduced multi-journey tickets to children travelling to school from out of the catchment area. The multi journey ticket offers 12 single journeys for £6.00, which equates to 50p per journey. These tickets are available any day of the week from the bus driver or by post from our office. To use the tickets, the students must be in school uniform
Local School Fares – for those children who live less than 3 miles from their secondary school or one mile from their primary school, a special single fare of 30p applies.
From January 2010, Padarn Bus have introduced a Travel Behaviour Code in line with Welsh Assembly Guidlines. The code applies to all young people travelling to Places of Learning. Copies of the code are displayed on Home to School Transport vehicles,can be downloaded here or are available from our Head Office.
